Bee-Certification

Royal Ridge Is Bee Better Certified

Bee Certification Icon

Pollinator bee populations rebound when they are provided with a stable habitat and protected from other threats. To promote pollinators on farms, The Xerces Society developed a comprehensive set of Production Standards guided by the most recent science and rooted in over a decade of on-farm trials.

Bee Better Certified farmers create flower-rich habitats, provide nesting locations, and create a safer environment for pollinators by protecting them from pesticide exposure and the spread of disease from commercially managed bumble bees. By buying Bee Better Certified products, you can help transform our farmland into a landscape that nourishes pollinator populations, providing vibrant habitats that help pollinators thrive while making agriculture more resilient.

Grant County Voluntary Stewardship Program (VSP) Certification

Voluntary Certified Program Logo

VSP is a non-regulatory, incentive-based approach to protecting critical areas on agricultural lands, while maintaining agriculture viability. It allows farmers and ranchers to continue agricultural practices without regulation under Grant County’s Critical Areas Ordinance by promoting voluntary stewardship strategies and practices by producers that protect critical areas and maintain and enhance agricultural viability.

VSP is intended to balance critical areas protection and agricultural viability at the County level through voluntary actions by agricultural producers. The program is not a replacement for compliance with other laws and regulations, but participation in the program can often help agricultural producers comply with these requirements.

Royal Ridge Fruits is a Certified supporter of the Grant County VSP.
